How to report allegedly infringing material on facefind.site under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Last updated: October 2025

Overview

facefind.site respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws, we will respond promptly to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement.

Filing a DMCA takedown notice

If you believe that content available through FaceFind infringes your copyright, please send us a written notification containing the following information:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list of works if multiple are affected.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (including URLs where possible) for us to locate it.
  4. Your contact information, name, address, email, and phone number.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Note: FaceFind only surfaces images that are already publicly available elsewhere on the web. If the original image has been removed from its source, it will no longer appear in FaceFind results. A DMCA notice should target content FaceFind directly hosts or generates; for content that lives on a third-party site, please contact that site's operator directly.

Where to send notices

Email your takedown notice to contact@facefind.site with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Request".

Counter-notification

If your content was removed due to a takedown notice and you believe the removal was in error, you may send a counter-notification. Please include identification of the removed material, confirmation that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your contact details, along with a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances, FaceFind will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
